daughter), the man is an alcoholic who is conned out of $9000 of his
niece's money, prompting a banker to challenge his guardianship and
make plans to sell the hotel the girl's parents left her. So,
Buz keeps the man sober for two days before a hearing, and Tod
gets back the money.

girl
whose dead husband's father, a wealthy cattleman, wants his grandson
born and raised a white man. He tries to hold the woman in his home
until the baby is born, but she escapes with Tod and Buz as they move
on. She has the baby with help from the guys and then dies. Tod and Buz then evade
the cattleman and bring the newborn to his mother's Pueblo father.
After a confrontation, the cattleman agrees to let the baby be raised
by the Pueblo. Look for a young Robert Duvall as the cattleman's thug, "Roman." |

businessman from illegally killing a deer, so he shoots out Tod's tires
and frames him and Buz for poaching. Out on bail paid by the man's
wife, Tod and Buz then go to find the man to ask him to tell the truth,
and witness him pushing his business partner off a cliff. The man then
hunts Tod, Buz, and his wife, but Buz sets up a bear trap and catches him, putting an end to the danger. |

and Buz stop to help a man whose cart has overturned. Driving the man
and an apparently injured boy to the town of Cordova, Tod is seized by
the townspeople for illegal parking and sentenced to a year teaching
school. When Buz arrives shortly thereafter in the horse-drawn cart
with the other children from the "accident," he too is caught up in the
town's scheme to keep its school open despite a cutoff of government
funds. Tod goes on a brief hunger strike but soon becomes fond of his
students, prompting him to take up the town's cause and convince
the state legislature that the town needs a
teacher and its own school. |

bet money back before the fight, resulting in a beating for Tod and a
bump on the head for Buz. Buz motivates his old friend to win the
fight, regain some self-respect, and quit fighting, and Buz and Tod
double their money. Look for Edward Asner as the trainer "Scully" and Al Lewis ("Grandpa" on The Munsters) as the Gym Owner. |

No one in town will help dig up the casket, so Tod and Buz help. |
