Adam-12 Memorabilia:

Ten Adam-12 comic books were produced by Western Publishing Inc. (Poughkeepsie, NY) from December 1973 to February 1976.

Each of the ten comic books was published in-house by Western Publishing Inc. and sold under two imprints (brand names): "Gold Key Comics" and "Whitman Comics." The former were marketed for newsstands while the latter were sold at toy stores and elsewhere. The two brands of comics were exactly the same except for the imprint on the front cover (shown below).

1. The Impossible Mission 9/21/1968 After his partner is killed in the line of duty, officer Malloy plans on quiting the force but must complete one more shift before he can leave. 
2. The Color TV Bandit 9/28/1968 Officers Malloy and Reed attempt to save two small victims of narcotic pills, and then pursue a long-sought burglary suspect in a foot chase. 
3. It's Just a Little Dent, Isn't It? 10/5/1968 Officers Malloy and Reed are involved in a high speed chase, a murder case and a family dispute as they work the P.M. watch. Reed worries all evening that the small dent in the fender he caused while backing the car up for fuel might lead to termination.
4. Reed, the Dicks Have Their Job... 10/12/1968 Officers Malloy and Reed assist a young mother whose baby is threatened by a deranged man and they help a woman being harassed by a spiteful neighbor.
5. You're Not the First Guy's Had the Problem 10/19/1968 Officer Reed learns that a professional officer has to keep their emotions under control; even when confronted with an abusive drunk-driver, right after clearing an "officer down" call & finding his close friend from the Academy critically wounded. 
6. And You Want Me to Get Married! 10/26/1968 Officers Malloy and Reed look for a robbery suspect, help a woman pinned under her crashed car and settle a family dispute, among other duties. 
7. I Feel Like a Fool, Malloy 11/2/1968 Among other calls, Officers Malloy and Reed answer a loud noise complaint and discover a teen-age babysitter in desperate need of help. 
8. El Presidente 11/9/1968 While on patrol, Reed and Malloy get a call to assist a man who has been overwhelmed with 51 very friendly Mexican children. Later, they catch a robber and rout out a sniper who is hiding in a house. 
9. Someone Stole My Lawn 11/16/1968 Los Angeles Police officers Jim Reed and Pete Malloy are dispatched to investigate the theft of a man's lawn. 
10. Producer 11/30/1968 Reed and Malloy set a trap for two burglary suspects within a building that manufactures swimwear, and later the officers help capture a prowler who is stalking a model. 
11. Snake in the Trunk 12/7/1968 Officers Reed and Malloy have to break apart feuding neighbors, attempt to find a stolen car with a boa constrictor in the trunk, and effect a rescue of two people from a house on fire. 
12. The Runaway 12/14/1968 When officers Reed and Malloy get to a communal house occupied by hippies, they find a young girl, who has run away from home, extremely sick from narcotic use.
13. Christmas - The Yellow Dump Truck 12/21/1968 Officers Reed and Malloy take part in a city wide search for a family's car that was stolen, along with the Christmas toys in it's trunk. They also arrest a holiday drunk driver.
14. The Long Walk 1/4/1969 Malloy and Reed are dispatched to a silent alarm set off during a holdup, then find themselves in the middle of a shootout with three suspects, and finally try to help an elderly man who is walking to his home...in South Dakota! 
15. Jimmy Eisley's Dealing Smack 1/11/1969 Reed and Malloy lend aid to a young woman, and the officers lead a raid on a dope dealer's apartment, breaking up the drug ring run from there. 
16. Grand Theft Horse? 1/18/1969 Reed and Malloy assist park rangers in catching a horse thief, a homesick Texan who was high on drugs at the time. The officers then chase two gunmen in a high speed pursuit. 
17. It All Happened So Fast 2/1/1969 Reed returns fire and kills a suspect, only to get grilled all night at the station. 
18. You Blew It 2/8/1969 There are good reasons for the policies police officers must follow, even if citizens don't like them. And this time when Malloy and Reed fail to follow the book on a traffic stop, an armed robbery suspect gets away. 
19. A Jumper - Code Two 2/15/1969 A woman won't let Reed and Malloy go until they fix her television antenna, and Malloy works dilegently to keep a man from jumping from a building. 
20. I'm Still a Cop 2/22/1969 Malloy is a part-time student at a local college, where he suddenly finds himself in the middle of of a riot. 
21. We Can't Just Walk Away From It 3/1/1969 A teenager is threatening to commit suicide and Malloy and Reed try to talk the troubled youth out of it.
22. A Dead Cop Can't Help Anyone 3/8/1969 A brash cop with reckless disregard for safety is teaching young rookies the wrong way to handle dangerous situations.
23. He - He was Trying to Kill Me 3/15/1969 A call brings Malloy and Reed into the investigation of child neglect.
24. Boy... the Things You Do for the Job 3/22/1969 Malloy writes a young woman a traffic ticket and then is bombarded with attention and affection, all of which he doesn't want.
25. Tell Him He Pushed Back a Little Too Hard 3/29/1969 A couple of neighbors co-own a boat and continually fight over it so Malloy and Reed do their best to mediate this latest rift.
26. So This Little Guy Goes Into This Bar, and... 4/5/1969 Malloy and Reed on patrol deal with a domestic dispute, the theft of a fur, and the noise from a loud party.
SEASON 2 - 26 episodes
1. Exactly One Hundred Yards 9/20/1969 Malloy isn't thrilled about having to do community relations police work.
2. Find Me a Needle 9/27/1969 Malloy and Reed spend their night watch attempting to find a criminal that is stalking a lover's lane.
3. Good Cop: Handle with Care 10/4/1969 A pair of freelance reporters are determined to do a story on police brutality, and harass Reed and Malloy as their marks. The officers warn them to cease their behavior, but, they don't, and end up causing a tragedy.
4. Pig is a Three Letter Word 10/11/1969 Reed and Malloy must keep a riot from taking place after the apprehension of a pair of armed robbers sets an entire neighborhood against the police.
5. A Different Thing 10/18/1969 Malloy and Reed are called to investigate a hit and run which soon begins to look like a homicide.
6. A Sound Like Thunder 11/1/1969 Reed and Malloy visit a ghost town and have to deal with a gang of bikers with guns.
7. Baby 11/8/1969 Reed's wife, Jean, is in labor at the hospital, but he goes to work, saying he's organized and has everything under control and will get to the hospital in time for the birth... but he doesn't.
8. Once a Junkie 11/22/1969 And ex-junkie is the suspect in an assault and robbery case and Reed and Malloy are assigned the case.
9. Courtroom 11/29/1969 Reed and Malloy are accused of overstepping the parameters of a search warrant by a suspect found to be in possession of illegal drugs.
10. Cave 12/13/1969 Just a typical day on patrol with calls ranging from a stoned hippie to the search for a runaway child.
11. As High As You Are 12/20/1969 Reed and Malloy are already having a tough day, when they're called for a narcotics arrest. No sooner do they arrive, than a group of neighborhood thugs decide to interfere, making their job that much harder.

13. Con Artists 1/2/1971 Reed and Malloy are on the trail of a family who are ripping people off doing bogus house repairs.
14. Gang War 1/9/1971 Teen gangs are close to a war when a Mexican-American priest calls Malloy and Reed for help in preventing bloodshed.
15. LEMRAS 1/16/1971 Two armed robbers take hostages in hopes of making a clean get away until Malloy and Reed thwart their plans. The officers then must contend with a group of burglaries committed by motorcycle riders.
16. I.A.D. 1/21/1971 An officer is accused of attempted blackmail and Malloy knows that the only person who can clear his friend of the charge is a bar girl no one seems to be able to locate.
17. The Vandals 1/28/1971 The beat goes on in Rampart as Malloy and Reed deal with a popular young woman and when a traffic stop turns serious.
18. Man Between 2/4/1971 Reed is teased by Ed Wells for being an optimist and for having faith in the human race while cynical Wells says no one can be trusted.
19. Once a Cop 2/11/1971 Malloy and Reed must deal with a underhanded trio made up of a movie star, her crooked agent and a bitter excop.
20. Militants 2/18/1971 Members of a militant hate group set an ambush for the police and two officers are shot down when they arrive for a bogus call. The situation gets trickier when it's discovered that one of the assailant's brothers is Reed's friend.
21. The Poachers 2/25/1971 Life on the streets tonight sees the officers catch a guy whole stole a police cruiser, the arrest of a girl forging checks, and the delivery of a baby by Reed.
22. Child in Danger 3/4/1971 While on patrol, Malloy and Reed happen into a robbery that's going down, discover a case of child beating, and try to warn a girl about driving around a bad part of town at night.
23. Vice Versa 3/11/1971 It happens to the best and it's happened to Malloy. He's forgotten to renew his driver's license and must allow the young Reed to take the wheel of their cruiser.
24. Post Time 3/18/1971 Malloy and Reed run across a stunned printer whose press has been stolen, an old retiree with problems, and a very unusual driver.
25. Reason to Run 4/1/1971 Malloy and Reed deal with a robbery, a drug bust, and with a burglary at a riding academy run by a once famous Western movie actor.
26. Safe Job 4/5/1971 Malloy and Reed have to figure out how a clever safe cracker gets in and out of the buildings without leaving a trace.

1. Extortion 9/15/1971 Reed and Malloy work an armed robbery, deal with a mean drunk, and round up a group of hoods taking advantage of Jewish businessman.
2. Million Dollar Buff 9/22/1971 Malloy and Reed are suddenly in a race to capture bad guys by a rich police buff who thinks he can do a better job of crime fighting than the police.
3. The Grandmother 9/29/1971 It's drug dealers, a vehicle pursuit, and armed robbery calls for officers Malloy and Reed.
4. The Sniper 10/6/1971 A ring of thieves who use stolen trucks to move their loot get busted by Malloy and Reed who then grab a revolutionary before he can do anything with a cache of hidden guns.
5. The Search 10/20/1971 Malloy disappears in the wilderness of Griffith Park while chasing a robbery suspect, causing a massive search for the officer.
6. The Ferret 10/27/1971 Reed and Malloy are called to various industrial sites where someone is sabotaging the equipment, and leaving notes, claiming that the victims are air-polluters. Now, the race is on as the officers try to guess the suspects next move, and bust him in the
7. Truant 11/3/1971 Officers Malloy and Reed catch a couple of young men tearing a house apart. Reed thinks out loud that if truants were more closely watched, there would be less crime.
8. Ambush 11/10/1971 Malloy and Reed are moving a prisoner when their cruiser is fired upon by two hit men, who then take Reed captive.
9. Anniversary 11/17/1971 Another typical day for officers Reed and Malloy includes a drunk wrestler tearing up a bar, a robbery, and a dispute in a used car lot.
10. Day Watch 11/24/1971 Reed and Malloy end the extortion a female hitchhiker plays upon the men who give her a ride; run down an armed robbery suspect, and have to deal with a drunk and his hallucinations.
11. Assassination 12/8/1971 A sniper has put officers Malloy and then Reed in the sights of his weapon.
12. The Dinosaur 12/15/1971 Eight years after an act of heroism put him out of commission, an officer returns to active duty, only to find that the changes made to the job are too much to handle.
13. Pick-Up 12/29/1971 Malloy and Reed are searching for a rape suspect and happen upon a young female runaway who is selling drugs on the street.
14. Citizens All 1/5/1972 Malloy and Reed referee a dispute at a lunch stand, stop a robbery in progress, and arrest a couple of counterfeiters.
15. The Princess and the Pig 1/12/1972 Reed goes undercover to bust open a drug operation and gets assistance from folk singing addict.

20. Sub-Station 2/16/1972 An actor down on his luck kidnaps a flight attendant in an effort to get on television until a TV producer promises to give him an audition.
21. Back-Up One L-20 2/23/1972 Sgt. MacDonald has been accused of reckless driving after his cruiser hits a pedestrian.
22. Who Won? 3/1/1972 Street racing has become a real problem so Malloy and Reed enlist the help of a racing promoter to get kids off the streets and onto the tracks.
23. Eyewitness 3/8/1972 Malloy and Reed are guided in a pursuit by officers in a police helicopter and then must settle a domestic dispute over football.
24. The Wednesday Warrior 3/15/1972 The L.A. Police Reserve trains citizens to help in spotting crime, but Malloy thinks their job of watching the a young reservist is a waste of time, until he stops a bank robbery.

1. Dirt Duel 9/13/1972 Malloy gets into a motorcycle duel in his and Reed's pursuit of two purse snatchers.
2. The Late Baby 9/20/1972 There's a new girl in the steno pool and Malloy asks her out on a date, which doesn't sit well for the another officer, who just happens to be the girl's uncle.
3. Airdrop 9/27/1972 Reed and Malloy investigate a light plane that has landed in a field which leads to an assist in a drug bust with the DEA.
4. Lost and Found 10/4/1972 Reed and Malloy deal with a young man who has diabetes and a young woman who is threatening suicide.
5. Training Wheels 10/12/1972 It's exercise time for Malloy and Reed, who are assigned a couple of ten-speeds, as they're sent to the bike patrol to catch car accessory thieves.
6. Badge Heavy 10/25/1972 Reed becomes a lightning rod of attention after he accuses fellow officer Charlie Burnside of using unnecessary force.
7. Harry Nobody 11/8/1972 Reed and Malloy are frustrated by a murderer who keeps eluding them, until they get assistance from a wino who chronically lies.
8. The Surprise 11/15/1972 There's been a series of business based burglaries when Malloy, Reed and Wells get into a shoot out with the crooks at a gas station. Malloy makes it well known that he does NOT want a surprise party for his birthday.
